John Brown (1784-1858) was a United Presbyterian (Seceder) minister in Broughton Place, Edinburgh, and grandson of John Brown of Haddington. Scarce, the only copies we located being in the British Library; the National Library of Scotland; and the John Brown archive at New College, University of Edinburgh.
