. 295 pages, cloth spine torn, a little foxing/grubbiness. Andrew Welwood lived in the 17th century and was a son of James Welwood, minister of Tundergarth, Annandale, Scotland, and a brother of the Covenanter minister John Welwood. Biographia Scoticana claims that, like his brother James he was a Doctor of Medicine in London, but Johnston's Treasury of the Scottish Covenant states that he was designed for the ministry, but died early in London of consumption, while Gilfillan suggests he may have fled there to escape persecution. A treatise looking forward to the glory of heaven.
