He held some evangelical and puritan principles but was not part of the Puritan movement. 12½ x 8¾ x 3 inches. Professionally rebound in recent years in brown wood-coloured leather spine and corners and brown cloth boards, maroon spine label with gilt letters and decorative bands. Pages 267-268 are numbered 277-278 and pages 269-270 appear after pages 271-272. A few other pages are misnumbered but correctly placed.
