. 314 pages, some foxing, heavy to edges and early/late pages; dust jacket tattered round edges. Scarce original Eyre & Spottiswoode edition. First title page gives full title, second (with publisher and date) just gives "Studies in the Psalms" plus details of the 4 parts of the book: 1) Special Words in the Psalm-Titles (96 pages); 2) Special Words in the Text (110 pages); 3 & 4) Songs of Degrees (Examination & Interpretation, 65 pages; New Translation with structure and notes, 36 pages.) Ethelbert Wiliam Bullinger (1837-1913) was an Anglican Bible scholar and ultra-dispensationalist, clerical secretary of the Trinitarian Bible Society for much of his life. Though apparently not wholly committed to the KJV and Textus Receptus, he was opposed to Westcott and Hort's Critical Text of the New Testament.
